Before the development

The property was in good condition just a little tired and in need of general refurbishment. The kitchen space was poorly utilized and required re planning.

What we did

Kitchen/ dining area

Removed stud partition half wall to create an eating area. Added a curve to the entrance wall to kitchen and painted with blackboard paint, to add a fun element. Re planned and installed new kitchen with wooden worktop and cooking range, added new dimmable spot lighting, new floor tiles, and a Victorian radiator. Used Neutral colours throughout.

Lounge/Hall

Re plastered lounge and hall, added curve wall to hall and used an Osborne & little wallpaper to highlight the feature. Installed spot lighting throughout hallway and re carpetied hall and lounge with a Black shag pile carpet. A chandelier was hung in lounge complimenting the original ceiling rose. ; Wiring was installed within the chimneybreast for plasma TV and DVD player. We decorated with neutral shades used black Osborne and little wallpaper for a feature wall. Sourced large horticultural graphic prints in Black frames and furnished with antiques.

Family Bathroom

Installed new bathroom suite including a glass shower enclosure, tiled with putty porcelain tiles and added dimmable spotlights.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom was decorated in warm neutral tones with a feature wallpapered partition wall leading to walk in wardrobe/dressing area. Texture was used with cork lampshades, coir flooring, tapestry cushions and textured throw.

The guest bedroom was decorated using white and black, a Black headboard was made to accessories the divan bed, fitted wardrobes were installed in alcove and a black shag pile carpet was used on the floor. Pink cushions and pink and Black graphic prints were used as highlights.

The Result

A great modern kitchen /diner now suitable for entertaining. A stylish lounge and hall. Easily maintained, simple but stylish bathroom. Warm inviting bedrooms.
